Brief
Rolli Bowli needed scroll-stopping content to match their premium product and brand vibe. The mission? Build a cohesive visual identity across formats — landing page video, social loops, and Meta ads — all in bold, flavorful style.
Objectives
- Deliver one hero video for the website and a suite of cutdowns for Meta ads — optimized in multiple aspect ratios and built for scroll.
- Multiple photoshoots - vibrant lifestyle, studio, and product shots to capture a fresh, playful vibe — tailored for Meta ads and the website.
Pre-Production
This phase was all about clarity — locking in the concept, visuals, pacing, and deliverables before we shot a single frame.
Story
We built a story that matched the brand’s lifestyle: free, flavorful, and full of sun.
Four young adults spend a golden afternoon by the sea — practicing yoga, strumming guitar, surfing, and sketching in a notebook. As the sun sets, they gather at a vintage camper, where they share colorful Rolli Bowli meals, dancing near a bonfire.
Color Direction
From surfer backdrops to food close-up, the brand's palette influenced every visual decision - captured on set and refined in post.
Commercial Storyboard
In Google Slides, we mapped the shoot around four core lifestyle moments. Animated GIFs were added to preview camera movement and set the tone — ensuring each shot aligned with Rolli Bowli’s vibrant energy and audience appeal.
Filming
Commercial Shooting Day
Sunrise, sand, and sushi.
We shot across 6 hours off the Mediterranean coast, chasing golden light, motion energy, and a visual language that matched Rolli Bowli’s tropical-surf-meets-health vibe.
Natural light was our main ingredient, with bounce boards, reflectors, and handheld movement giving it an indie-slick feel.
The beach wasn’t locked down — so timing, patience, and some guerrilla finesse kept us on our toes.
Production Setup
Gear: Sony FX30, handheld
Format: Shot in 4K (for widescreen and vertical exports)
Lighting: Natural light + reflectors

Capturing the Vibe
Every frame was crafted to reflect the brand’s tone — playful, vibrant, and real. From lens flares to unscripted smiles, we chased moments that felt lived-in, not staged. The camera kept rolling to catch what mood boards can’t: energy, authenticity, and brand soul in motion.
Post-Production Workflow
Project Tools
I cut, graded, and polished the Rolli Bowli campaign using a blend of Adobe tools and DaVinci Resolve. Keeping things precise, punchy and platform ready.
Footage Audit
Nothing slows post down like chaos, so every asset - video footage to graphics, got its place before the clean cut. Promising a fast, efficient and responsible workflow.
Shot Selection
In Premiere Pro, every video clip was hand-picked for strength and flow - always with the initial brief in mind.
Timeline Assembly
In Premiere Pro, arrange chosen clips, building a cohesive timeline. The cut was shaped to gradually shift from zen to hype, syncing vibe with the brand's dual identity: wellness and fun.
Color Grading
In DaVinci Resolve, balanced exposure, built a custom grade to match the campaign vibe. Then, zoomed out - reviewed the entire film for consistency and polish.
Here's a bird's-eye look at the full color pass - every shot balanced and stylized to feel summery, surfy, and snackable.
Export Deliverability
Final videos were cut for scroll-stopping Reels, Youtube-wide hero cuts and snappy 16:9 promos - each tailored for its moment.
